TEHRAN October 17.2023 (Saba) - Two relatively strong earthquakes measuring 5.3 and 5.6 on the Richter scale struck the Fin and Ferghan regions in Hormozgan Province, southern Iran.
Mehr News Agency reported that at 8:32 am on Tuesday morning, an earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale struck the Fin area of Bahrmozgan, noting that this earthquake occurred at a depth of 19 meters from the ground.
She added: Another earthquake occurred at 8:39, with a magnitude of 5.6 on the Richter scale, at a depth of ten kilometers in the Ferghan region of Hormozgan Province.
During the past two years, the Finn region has witnessed earthquakes with a magnitude exceeding six degrees.
