HODEIDA September 10. 2023 (Saba)-His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, confirmed that the Yemeni missile force has become capable of striking any target in any city in the aggression countries from anywhere in Yemen.
President Al-Mashat said during the expanded meeting to launch the general agricultural policy for the Tihama Plain in Hodeida province today,Sunday,“Last year we spoke in front of the presentation stage that we in the Navy possessed weapons with which we could strike any point in the sea from anywhere in Yemen, and this was a message of deterrence to the forces of war.” The aggression, and now I am sending them the following message on the ground level. It seems that you need to try our missile force, which can strike any target in any city in the aggression countries from anywhere in Yemen, and not from a specific region.”
He pointed out that these qualitative achievements came in the context of interest, seriousness and activity, which must be achieved on the administrative side, which requires everyone to move with the same enthusiasm and activity.
He indicated that what has been achieved and qualitative achievements at the military level is considered a source of pride and honor for the people of the country throughout the Republic of Yemen.
President Al-Mashat expressed his pride in the participation of the people of Al-Hodeida province in celebrating and rejoicing in the anniversary of the birth of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers be upon him and his family.. And he said, “On this precious occasion that coincides with our people’s celebrations of the blessed days of the revolutions, I announce to the sons of the Guardian of the Red Sea and to all the sons of the masses of our Yemeni people the inauguration of the power station Solar system with a capacity of 20 megawatts, as a first stage.
He explained that the foundation stone had been laid for the second phase of the solar energy station with an additional capacity of 20 megawatts, to contribute to development and serving the people of Hodeida province in general, indicating that directives had been issued for the discounts to continue for the people of Hodeida throughout the year.
The President pointed out that this station is considered the largest in the Republic of Yemen and was implemented by sincere Yemeni hands. He expressed his thanks to every worker and employee and everyone who contributed to this historic achievement, which is presented as a gift to the people of Hodeida on the occasion of the coming of the birth of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his good family the pure ones.
President Al-Mashat directed the continued reduction of electricity tariffs by calculating the first 200 kilowatts of household electricity consumption for all subscribers in Hodeida at a price of 100 riyals/kWh, throughout the year.
He stated that half of the presidency's land adjacent to Al-Thawra Hospital Authority in the province was directed to be handed over to expand the hospital as a gift to the people of Al-Hodeida province, and it was also directed to give the people of Al-Hodeida priority in agricultural and residential lands.
He said, "I directed the General Authority for Lands and the local authority to complete the city of the twenty-first of September for the poor - the first phase, and to exempt the residents of Haret Al-Hawak, Al-Hali and Al-Mina who established housing on state lands and owned these lands as they are vulnerable."
President Al-Mashat stressed that the steadfastness of the men of Hodeida, which is the guardian of the Red Sea, deserves all appreciation, respect and work to provide all their needs according to what is available.
He directed the Higher Agricultural and Fisheries Committee to support fishermen and farmers with white loans to move the wheel of agricultural development, pointing out that the Zakat Authority has projects to finance fishermen’s activities through the Agricultural Committee, which will create a qualitative leap and contribute to providing job opportunities.
He pointed out that during the past few days, work had been done to establish the national project for the resettlement of dairy people. He called on the people of the province looking for job opportunities that project will accommodate a lot of workers, the Zakat Authority and other supporting bodies will be of help, support to the poor and needy who will work in this field.
He added, "We have ambition, hope, and aspiration to end unemployment and poverty in the province, which is considered a province of goodness, production, activity, and movement, and we will work, God willing, until we restore its primacy."
The President pointed out that citizens have great hope in the revolution, the blessed march, and the wise revolutionary leadership. He said, “The merits of victory and the merits of the blessed revolution place us in front of great aspirations for the sons and masses of our people.”
He revealed that Yemen is currently producing 1,818 types of medicines, after it had produced only 52 types until 2017, of which only 38 types remained at that time, which indicates the efforts being made to encourage local production. He said, “This means there are efforts.” You will make an effort, so do not listen to the frustrated and do not give in to them. We are statesmen and we will prove that we are statesmen and our enemy knows that.”
He stated that it is fallacious and illogical to talk about the requirements for peace in a situation of war, without any comparison. He said, “You remember how much the price of the dollar rose against the Yemeni riyal after the 1994 war, which lasted only 70 days in an internal confrontation, while external support was continuing, so the theories that come from here and there, from those whom we have tested and who our people have tested, are neither satiating nor satisfactory.”
He added, "We have started a new page away from bidding. We are all today's children heading to build our country, and at the forefront are the provinces of goodness and production, such as Hodeidah, and other provinces."
President Al-Mashat stressed the importance of everyone moving, especially with the start of the agricultural season, which comes as this expanded meeting comes to inaugurate agricultural general policies in Tihama Plain and to strengthen the organization of the performance of cooperative societies.
He explained that the map of the Tihama Plain will be completed regarding irrigation channels, so that not a single drop goes into the sea. Rather, for the people of Tihama to exploit it.
He stressed the work during the current year to localize the cultivation of five varieties, which will contribute to providing job opportunities for thousands of families, and in a way that will serve the vulnerable... stressing the importance of the people of the province moving towards production, and they will receive all support.
He stated that during his visit to Al-Hodeida province, many projects were inaugurated and opened, with an estimated cost of local projects at seven billion riyals for the year 1445 AH. He expressed his thanks to all administrators and workers for serving people in all fields in the province.
President Al-Mashat stated that Alrasul Al'aezam Hospital for Cancer Tumors, which he visited, is considered a great support for the people of Hodeida and the neighboring provinces. He reiterated his thanks to everyone who moves and works in the service of citizens, in all fields, which must continue permanently and in the same spirit.
