Sana'a - Saba:
His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, affirmed Yemen’s solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran in its right to defend its sovereignty and deter aggressors.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), President Al-Mashat said, "There is no international charter that authorizes anyone to unleash their rabid dog on whomever they wish. The United Nations Charter is the governing contract for relations between nations, and we will not allow it to be violated."
He pointed out that violating the UN Charter would turn the world into a jungle where only the strong survive, stressing that certain countries have a duty to uphold international peace and security rather than engage in aggression and interfere in the sovereignty of other nations.
"If the bond between the world’s nations unravels due to the slaves of Zionism, then the language of force will be the alternative," he added, noting that "the dust of battle will eventually settle on a new world, and no one today can predict the outcomes or what this world will look like."
President Al-Mashat called on all peace-loving nations to raise their voices against Zionist expansionism before its fire reaches every country, adding, "All peace-loving countries must work to halt the blatant Zionist aggression against Iran and the region’s nations, in accordance with the UN Charter and through the methods it has established to stop any aggression against any member state, until peace and security are achieved."
He concluded his statement by saying, "The exploitation of the UN Charter by those who are supposed to protect it compels us and many nations of the world to reinforce this charter. We will take all necessary measures to achieve peace and security."
