TEHRAN June 08. 2023 (Saba) - Iran's ambassador and permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna Mohsen Naziri has called on European countries to adopt goodwill and abandon their provocative and non-constructive stances, and to proceed with their duty to find a peaceful solution to an issue that worries everyone.
The Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) stated at the meeting of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency, which was held in the Austrian capital, Vienna.
The Iranian ambassador to Austria reviewed his country's principled positions, criticizing in his speech to the members of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Agency, "the violation of the commitments stipulated in the nuclear agreement by the United States and the member states of the European Union.
Naziri pointed to Iran's constructive measures in the context of cooperation with the International Atomic Agency, describing the demands put forward during the last meeting of the Board of Governors held in March on Iran as illogical.
He said Iran's nuclear activities, including enrichment at various levels, are peaceful par excellence and take place in the context of the interests of the Iranian people, based on the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and under the supervision of the Safeguards Agreement.
