MOGADISHU May 30. 2023 (Saba) - The Somali army announced on Tuesday the killing of eight militants of al-Shabaab movement, linked to Al-Qaeda terrorist organization in the Galgaduud region in the center of Somalia.
Local media quoted a Somali army officer as saying“The army, during a military operation, managed to kill eight militants of al-Shabaab movement and arrested two others in Galgadud region, in the center of the country.”
Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud announced shortly after assuming power in May 2022 an all-out war against terrorism to eliminate al-Shabab movement.
