SANA'A February 05. 2023 (Saba) - Sheikh Yahya al-Halili, the famous reciter of Holy Quran, on Sunday denounced the mercenary government's decision to appoint him as an advisor to the so-called Minister of Awqaf who resides in Riyadh.
In a statement, Sheikh al-Halili was surprised by the insolence of those who call themselves legitimate of the people, speaking in the name of the Yemeni people and issuing decrees that do not honor their names.
The mercenary government, which resides outside Yemen, is a partner to the invaders in killing the Yemeni people, destroying their infrastructure and plundering their wealth and capabilities.
Sheikh al-Halili said that he was not honored by the decree issued by an accomplice in the destruction of more than 1,600 mosques, most of which were historical, such as the mosque of Sheikh Abdullrazzaq al-Sanaani.
Al-Halili affirmed that his position is clear by criminalizing aggression and its tools, and he is holding the post of a chairman of the arbitration committees for memorizing the Holy Quran in the Holy Quran education sector at the Ministry of Guidance and Hajj and Umrah Affairs.
He warned against the consequences of being drawn into the repercussions of the mercenary government and being drawn into its malicious and destructive rumors, through which it is trying to split the steadfast and cohesive Yemeni society with the strength of its men and the depth of its authentic faith identity.
