Foreign Ministry condemns provocative language of UK Foreign Ministry in dealing with human rights of Yemeni people

SANA'A October 2.2022 (Saba) - The Foreign Ministry of the Government of Sana'a condemned the provocative criminal language of the United Kingdom's foreign affairs in dealing with the subject of human rights and the basic needs of the Yemeni people.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the Foreign Office condemned the United Kingdom's foreign ministry statement which poses a disgusting threat to the denial of Yemenis' right to travel and movement and their right to access fuel, food and pharmaceutical goods.. Confirming that none of this will continue if Yemenis do not accept the extension.

The statement said: "This language reflected a miserable attempt to cover up the intransigence of the aggression states as well as the usual British barbarism from another standpoint, however, it provides clear recognition and public acknowledgement that Britain and the aggression coalition are taking the blockade of the Yemeni people and depriving them of their basic needs as a military weapon, a war crime and a crime against humanity ".

"As the Government of Sana 'a records this important statement, it affirms that the Yemeni people retain their legal right to pursue the British Government and the rest of the aggression countries for all the war crimes that have affected Yemen on the ground and humanity ". The statement added.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that Sana 'a had demonstrated to the Yemeni people and all the peoples of the world its desire for peace...And said "With regard to the extension, Sana 'a has not made any miraculous demands that may, for example, warrant any concessions from the aggression States or it detracts from the rights of peoples in these or other countries, but these demands are and continue to fall within the exclusive human rights of the Yemeni people".

"Therefore, those who reject the right of the Yemeni people to benefit from their oil wealth and to obtain fuel, food and medicine without hindrance is the Party that will assume full responsibility for obstructing and impeding the extension ". The ministry added.

The Foreign Office statement continued: "In view of the British threat to return war crimes and prevent the Yemeni people from their most basic human rights, Sana'a unloads the ear of London and all the capitals that share these criminal intentions that the Yemeni people will not renounce their rights ".

The statement stressed that such barbaric threats would only increase the Government of National Rescue's insistence on upholding the full and undiminished rights of the Yemeni people, it pledges to continue the struggle for peace, which will be achieved only by respecting Yemen's right.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its call to the United Nations to assume its responsibility for these impeding methods of peace.. At the same time it stressed that the Yemeni people would not continue to suffer alone indefinitely and that the Yemen's Government and people would be concerned only with respect for the rights and interests of those who respected the rights and interests of the Yemeni people.
