Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast scattered thunderstorms of varying intensity across several governorates, along with strong winds that will cause rough seas over the next 24 hours.
The center stated in its weather bulletin that thunderstorms of varying intensity, some accompanied by hail, are expected to fall on parts of the governorates of Amran, Hajjah, Mahwit, Dhamar, Raymah, Dhale'a, Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwah, Hadhramaut, and the Tihama Plain.
Scattered rain, sometimes accompanied by thunder, is also expected in parts of Saada, Sana'a, Jawf, Marib, and Bayda.
Strong to very strong winds are likely to blow around the Socotra Archipelago, the Gulf of Aden, and the eastern and southern coasts.
The amount of rainfall measured at meteorological stations in Hajjah over the past 24 hours was 3 mm, Mahwit 2.5 mm, Ibb 1.2 mm, Saddah-Ibb 0.6 mm, and Taiz 0.6 mm.
Scattered rains fell on many areas of the desert and interior plateaus, but were outside the stations' range.
The center warned citizens of thunderstorms and being in or crossing floodwaters during and after rainfall, as well as of mudslides and rockslides on mountain roads.
Seafarers, fishermen, and ship captains were also warned of rough seas and high waves around the Socotra Archipelago, in the Gulf of Aden, and along the southern and eastern coasts.
