Hajjah – Saba:
Primary prosecution offices in Hajjah governorate on Monday completed action on 2,250 out of 2,500 total cases during the judicial year 1446 AH, achieving a 90% case resolution rate, according to a statistical report issued by the Hajjah Court of Appeals Prosecution.
The report indicated that among the resolved cases were 474 major offenses, 1,731 minor offenses, 28 violations, as well as 17 cases related to complaints, special circumstances, and natural deaths.
Case distribution by district showed that Abs Prosecution handled 595 cases, Mahabshah 539, Hajjah City 496, Hajjah Criminal Prosecution 307, Kushar 280, Juvenile Prosecution 30, Haradh 1 case, and Criminal Investigation Prosecution 2 cases.
The report also stated that the Court of Appeals Prosecution received 1,285 cases during the same period, all of which were resolved. These included 606 major crimes, 470 appeals, 168 legal opinions, 41 review cases, and 21 file duplications.
Judge Abdullah al-Ahmar, Head of the Court of Appeals Prosecution in Hajjah, praised the efforts of prosecutors, clerks, and network system specialists for their effective work.
He noted that there are plans to establish new primary prosecution offices in several districts to reduce pressure on existing offices and ensure timely case processing.
