SANA'A, Sep. 28 (Saba) - Marshal Mahdi Mohamed al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, met Wednesday in the capital Sana'a United Nations Special Envoy for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, and his team.

The meeting discussed the efforts of the United Nations to expand the armistice in the light of the intransigence of the US-Saudi aggression.

During the meeting, President Al-Mashat said, "The injustice inflicted on our Yemeni people by the aggression and the blockade is very big, compared to the simple humanitarian demands it makes for the payment of salaries to all State employees and pensions to retirees; the lifting of the blockade, especially in the light of the ongoing looting of sovereign wealth by the aggression and its mercenaries which could cover salaries for years, which would make solving this file very simple without the will of the aggression States to continue the suffering of the Yemeni people".

"The not loosen to alleviate the human suffering of the Yemeni people deliberately created by aggression means that he is the one who rejects the armistice, not the one who espouses the rightful demands of our Yemeni people."

"We want to achieve our Yemeni people's demands for an honourable and just peace." Al-Mashat pointed out.

"The payment of salaries to all State employees and pensions to pensioners is an essential requirement for the Yemeni people and if this is not achieved and the merits of the armistice are improved, we will not accept its renewal, because our acceptance of the armistice in this way constitutes acceptance of the continuation of war and siege on our dear Yemeni people in a more fierce manner than military war ". He confirmed.

President Al-Mashat continued: "We have not asked anyone to insure our Yemeni people, but to claim their right to their oil, gas and other wealth, to pay salaries and those who prevent our people from being entitled are not expected to give them roses. "
