SANA'A, Jun. 11 (Saba) - His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council met on Saturday with Ibb governor Abdulwahed Salah.
During the meeting, al-Mashat and Salah discussed the situation in the province, the progress of local and executive work, efforts to implement development and service projects in Ibb, and the community initiatives that could be used to improve services for citizens in light of the current conditions.
President al-Mashat referred to the aspects related to the agricultural field and urged attention to agriculture and the cultivation of grains of all kinds, and to support farmers by providing seeds, guidance and agricultural awareness, and the efforts required to create barriers and dams to take advantage of rainwater to irrigate farms and feed the water basin in Ibb.
Al-Mashat stressed the need to pay attention to road projects, water and sanitation, hygiene and investment in the tourism and agricultural sectors in line with the designation of Ibb province as the green province.
He pointed out the importance of benefiting from the elements of development in Ibb to bring about a comprehensive development and their contribution to implementing initiatives to repair roads and establishing service projects in the interest of the province and its people.
