MARIB, July. 05 (Saba) - On July 3, 2019, Maneen Al Hadad Displacement Site south of Ma’rib’s Al-Ashraf sub-district. the city was on a date with a barbaric attack with armored vehicles and tanks.
The perpetrators were groups from the Islah party and al-Qaeda elements loyal to the US-Saudi aggression against the family of Al-Al-Amir family, who live in the area.
The people of the region stood up and fight for more than five days until their ammunition was running out and the siege was imposed on them from all sides, so the mercenaries of aggression took advantage of this to raid the area and wreaked havoc and criminality, burned farms, stole houses and looted as much as they could in a show that revealing the banditry mentality of the Islah militia.
The repercussions of the tragedy did not stop there, but dozens of families were abandoned from their homes to Sana'a and other areas and more than 33 young men, children, and sheikhs from the Al-Al-Amir family, who have been in prison for nearly two years, have been detained and subjected to the most severe torture in the silence of human rights organizations.
Attacking the Authority of the Reform Party for a safe area with tanks and armored vehicles against a family whose history attests to the honorable national positions and good deeds among all tribes, and the subsequent looting of homes and the burning of farms reveals the dehumanization of militias, primarily concerned with creating tragedies and terrorizing civilians.
Their insistence on continuing to arrest more than 33 young people, children, and elders from the same family for nearly two years puts human rights and humanitarian organizations on a real test to rid these detainees of the oppressed they have fallen upon, which the pro-aggression authority insists on continuing, as their lives are in danger after they were declared days before going on hunger strike for failing to respond to their demands and continuing to torture them.

"The authority of the aggression mercenaries has imposed a security cordon on the Area of Al-Maneen for two years and prevents the people of the area from entering it, turning it into a military zone and depriving its people of returning to it, cultivating their land, or taking the rest of their property at an act that is not approved by religion, law or custom," the sons of Al-Ashraf said.
As horrific as the tragedy and events of Al-Maneen have caused the suffering of dozens of families who were doomed to displacement or arrest, they reveal the reality of the exclusionary and criminal mentality of the mercenaries authority of aggression in Marib, which has been flouted by all laws and customs and unleashed its sick hatred, mentality, brutality and criminality against Al-Al-Amir family.
The tragic events of Al-Maneen were only one of a long list of mercenaries' crimes against the sons of Marib, who, during six years, suffered from criminal authority that strafe people with ill-suffering.
The massacre of Al Subaiyan genocide, which resulted in the killing of Sheikh Mohsen Subaiyan and seven of his children and brothers, the arrest and concealment of the fate of Samira Marsh and a number of displaced women, and the torture of dozens of prisoners and detainees inside prisons, some of whom died, are all notable crimes stuck in the minds of every Yemeni, have not been forgotten and will continue to be a stain and a living witness to the brutality of the Saudi aggression and its mercenaries.
Completing the battle for the liberation of Marib city was not a military luxury, but a lift for the oppressed and the suffering of the people of Marib as a result of the crimes of aggression and its mercenaries, and its liberation became a duty that calls on the free people of the country, first and foremost the sons of Marib, a popular gift to liberate from an authority that handed over its decision to the alliance to plunder the wealth of the province and confiscate the freedom of its sons.
The tragedy of Maneen will continue to bear witness to the ugliness of aggression, its mercenaries, their criminality, and they're stripping them of all tribal values, traditions, and tribal customs.
