SANAA, May 26 (Saba) - The Field Marshal, President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat has sent a condolence message on the death of the great poet Hasan Abdullah al-Sharafi, after a busy life in writing poetry, in serving Yemen, and in defending the noble values.
In the condolence message to the poet's son Majed Hasan al Sharafi, the President praised al-Sharafi's writings, in particular writing poems which represented a poetry school that would remain a milestone in the sky of modern and contemporary Yemeni poetry, especially in its sincere relationship with the homeland, the earth and the humanbeing.
The poet Hasan al-Sharafi was one of those poets who provided the most amazing examples of the poet's mission and the writer's experience in serving the homeland, the President said.
