Shura Council's Speaker chairs meeting to discuss Sanaa Airport conditions
[24/February/2020]

SANAA, Feb. 23 (Saba) - The Shura Council's Speaker Mohammed al-Aidarous on Sunday chaired a meeting at Sanaa International Airport with Transport Ministry’s Undersecretary for Air Transport Sector, Chief of the Civil Aviation Authority, the airport’s director, and a number of the Shura members.

The meeting, which was also attended by officials from the Ministry of Health, discussed the airport’s conditions and the readiness of the airport’s quarantine building.

The Shura Speaker pointed out that the continued closure of the airport reflects the hatred of the aggression coalition led by Saudi regime, which does not count any values of neighborhood.

Al-Aidarous stressed the importance of the concerted efforts of the Ministries of Health and Transport in equipping quarantine centers in the air, sea and land ports, and conducting precautionary medical examination for arriving travelers to ensure that they are free of Corona virus.

He indicated that the meeting came within the framework of the field activities of the Shura Council committees to inspect the state institutions’ conditions and work to overcome the challenges facing them.
