GAZA, March 28 (Saba) -- Chief Justice of Palestine Sheikh Tayseer Rajab Al-Tamimi has called on Palestinian citizens to exert more efforts and unite in order to protect the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

Al-Tamimi, also Chairman of the Christian-Muslim committee for protecting Jerusalem and the holy sites, urged, in particular, Palestinian people of Jerusalem and Arabs of 1948 (inside Israel) to decamp to the Aqsa Mosque to defy attempts to storm the holy shrine by Jewish extremists, possibly on Monday.

The call came today from the Chief Justice of Palestine in response to assertions made by extremist Jewish groups over their intention to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque on Monday to offer what they call "The Hebrew Passover offering, " during which sacrifices would be slaughtered.

For its part, radical Jewish Movement of Trustees of the Temple announced on its website the organization of a march towards Al-Aqsa Mosque, which it calls (the Temple Mount) on April 1 for the purpose of destroying it and build the alleged temple instead.

Al-Tamimi pointed out in his appeal, carried by Palestinian radio stations, that "Judaizing Jerusalem and its holy sites is no longer a new issue, as judaization has been continuing since its occupation in 1967.
