SANAA, April 28 (Saba) - Minister of Industry and Trade Abdulwahab al-Durra on Sunday affirmed the discipline of food and supply prices in the markets of the capital Sanaa and the provinces in a quantity that meets the needs of all people.
Minister al-Durra pointed out in a field visit , which included markets, malls and shops in the capital Sanaa within a campaign implemented by the ministry until 15 Ramadan, to continue the tasks of field teams to protect the consumer in the sites targeted by the campaign.
"Today, many markets, shops and ovens were visited to ensure the safety of field teams in the interests of consumer protection," he said.
"The foodstuffs are well available and at reasonable prices and the goods that are expired or in violation of the specifications were seized by authorities," he said.
During the field visit, an oven in one of the markets of the capital was closed for violating the ministry's circulated specific tariff for the weight of the loaf, in addition to violations in environmental safety and health.
