YPC : End of crisis of oil derivatives, adoption of control system over stations via web

SANAA, April 27 (Saba) - The Yemen Petroleum Company (YPC) on Saturday confirmed the end of the crisis of oil derivatives today in the capital and all the provinces.

The official spokesman of the company Amin al-Shabati said that the dawn of the day large quantities of gasoline arrived to various stations in the capital and its environs, as well as all provinces, to cover the needs of citizens of gasoline.

He said in a statement to the Saba news agency that all petrol stations were opened at 7 am and gasoline was sold to citizens, including the company's stations, especially the main station, which started its operations for the first time after its maintenance, where it was targeted last year by the aggression coalition.

He affirmed that the process of loading oil derivatives from the facilities of Hodeidah continues without interruption to ensure the stability of the ration, stressing that the ration situation is stable and there is no need for panic and overcrowding in the stations.

He pointed out that citizens can supply their needs of gasoline easily that the amounts discharged in the stations are sufficient and able to end the crisis in record time.

He said that the company has adopted a system of control over the stations selling through the web, which enables it to follow all the stations of the Republic first and to ensure that citizens can benefit from this service, via knowing the stations in service and the geographical location of each one.

He pointed out that the aggression coalition is still holding 11 oil vessels, warning that the continued detention of oil derivatives vessels will lead to the return of bottlenecks, crises and the disastrous consequences on the homeland and the citizens.

He blamed the aggression coalition and holding them the legal and moral responsibility for the results.

The spokesman of company called on citizens to stand with the company and go to the sit-in in front of the United Nations Office to demand UN to press the coalition of aggression to immediately release all vessels in custody and ensure future non-repetition for this act.
