SANAA, April 23 (Saba) - The Yemen Petroleum Company (YPC) Tuesday announced the end of the diesel crisis and the stability of the rationing situation of this supply material in the capital Sanaa and the provinces.
The company explained in a statement that it was able to stabilize the supply of diesel material through the preparation of programs of efficient procurement and control procedures on sales in service stations, use of automated system, provide the needs of all vital sectors and the fight against the black market.
The company stressed that it will pump additional quantities to the local market to cover the needs of all sectors in the coming days as the company's stock of diesel is still in the possible limit, in conjunction with the presence of diesel ship in port of Hodeidah.
With regard to gasoline, the company explained that it has taken the measures, readiness and full alert to receive vessels and oil derivatives, to empty and pump their charge to the market to end the gasoline crisis, but only the small ship previously announced was allowed to enter.
The Yemeni Petroleum company said that it was able through this ship to alleviate the continuing crisis of gasoline as a result of the coalition continued to detain 12 vessels at sea, 60 miles from the port of Hodeidah for the thirty-fifth consecutive day.
Meanwhile, the Executive Director of the Company Yasser Al Wahidi, Deputy Executive Director for Commercial Affairs Dr. Rami Hanab and Deputy Director of Commercial Department Spokesperson of the Company Amin Al-Shabati, visited several stations in the capital Sanaa and Sanaa province, where they inspected the ration status of diesel in the stations.
