ANAA, March 30 (Saba) - The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, on Saturday stressed the keenness of the National Salvation Government to strengthen the relationship with the private sector in order to strengthen its stability and develop its commercial and investment activities.

This came, when the PM met with a group of businessmen and representatives of commercial houses.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister for Development and Economic Affairs, Dr. Hussein Maqbouli, Ministers of Planning and International Cooperation, Abdulaziz Al-Kumim, Social Affairs and Labor, Obaid Bin Dhebaa, Industry and Trade, Abdulwahab Al-Durra.

It discussed the conditions of private sector, the conduct of its economic, trade, investment and industrial activities, as well as the means to strengthen its important role in serving the society and the national economy.

The meeting dealt with a number of proposals submitted by the private sector to overcome a number of problems facing it due to the repercussions of the US-saudi coalition aggression and siege.

It affirmed that matters urge the government to observe the necessity of stressing the steadfastness of this vital sector and continuing its activities especially in light of this extraordinary circumstance.

The Prime Minister called on the private sector to raise a memorandum on the problems and the visions to overcome them for discussion at a meeting of the cabinet.

He stressed the need for businessmen and traders in their role in reviewing the list of prices of their products and goods in accordance with the improvement witnessed by the national currency as well as their contribution to alleviate the suffering of citizens with the advent of the month of Ramadan.
