The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday that its air defense systems shot down 25 Ukrainian drones overnight in the airspace of two regions.
The ministry explained in a statement that 22 drones were shot down over Rostov Region and 3 drones were shot down over Stavropol Region.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the downing of 19 Ukrainian drones over several Russian regions.
Russian security services reported that the Russian army is continuing its operations to encircle a Ukrainian battalion in the Sinelnikovo area toward Kharkiv, in a field advance that threatens to cut off supply routes for Ukrainian forces.
