The General Directorate of Civil Defense in Gaza mourned, on Tuesday, the martyrdom of firefighter officer Abdul Rahman Maher Abu Latifa from the Bani Suhaila fire station, after Israeli forces targeted his family's tent on Al-Majayda Street in the Al-Mawasi area, killing his parents as well.

In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Directorate confirmed that with Abdul Rahman’s martyrdom, the total number of Civil Defense personnel killed in Gaza since the start of Israel’s genocidal war has risen to 137.

With full U.S. and European support, Israel continues its massacre and siege on Gaza, resulting in:

- 154,088 injured (numbers still rising).
- Thousands still trapped under rubble, unreachable by rescue teams due to ongoing bombardment.
