Gaza – SABA:
The organization Human Rights Watch (HRW) stated on Monday that the blatant targeted killing of Palestinian journalists Anas Al-Sharif and Mohammed Qureiqa, along with four other media workers yesterday evening, highlights the unthinkable danger facing Palestinian journalists in Gaza.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the international human rights organization condemned the crimes of the Israeli occupation forces, stating that the assassination of journalists also underscores the "Israeli military’s complete disregard for civilian lives."
The six media workers were martyred last night in an Israeli enemy airstrike that targeted their tent near Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City.
With American and European support, the Israeli enemy military has continued to commit genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 61,499 Palestinian civilians, most of them women and children, and 153,213 injuries—a non-final toll, as thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble or in the streets, unreachable by rescue teams.
