The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Monday that its forces had eliminated approximately 50 Ukrainian militants and destroyed two Abrams tanks in Sumy Oblast in a combined strike using aerial bombs and Girne-2 drones.
Russia Today reported that the ministry published footage of the complex strike carried out by Su-34 fighter jet crews and drone operators in the area where a battalion of the 144th Ukrainian Airborne Brigade was stationed in Sumy Oblast, using guided aerial bombs and Girne-2 drones.
The ministry stated that "as a result of the strike, approximately 50 militants were eliminated, and an ammunition depot and up to ten units of foreign military equipment belonging to the Ukrainian forces were destroyed, including two Abrams tanks and four Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, in addition to other Ukrainian vehicles and armored vehicles."
