Russia's Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Security Council, Dmitry Polyansky, attacked Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar on Sunday, noting that the latter seeks the sympathy of Council members to continue the killing of Palestinians.
In his speech during the Security Council session, Polyansky said that Sa'ar shed crocodile tears over the fate of the "prisoners" and knows that his government's decision will not bring them back alive.
He added that the Jewish people, who faced the Holocaust, are now besieging the Palestinians in a ghetto and seeking to destroy them.
The UN Security Council held an emergency session on Sunday to discuss the Israeli enemy's decision to expand its aggression against the Gaza Strip.
