Baltimore Police announced that six people, including a five-year-old girl, were injured in a mass shooting that occurred last night in a neighborhood in the city's northwest.

Police Commissioner Richard Worley said that the girl was shot in the hand, confirming that her injuries were not life-threatening. A man is in critical condition and undergoing surgery. He noted that the remaining victims range in age from 23 to 52.

Police did not release any details regarding the suspect or suspects in the incident, stating only that preliminary information indicates that multiple gunshots were fired and that several victims have been killed.
