Paris - Saba:
French club Paris Saint-Germain, the reigning European champions, have officially announced the signing of goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier from Lille on a five-year contract, amid doubts over the future of the Parisian club's first-choice goalkeeper, Italian Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Paris Saint-Germain did not disclose the value of the deal, but French newspaper L'Equipe reported that the Parisian club paid more than €40 million for Chevalier, with the option to increase the deal to €55 million through add-ons.
Chevalier shone with Lille in the Champions League last season, capturing attention with his performances against Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, and Juventus. He made one of the best saves against Dusan Vlahovic against Juventus, earning the latter's admiring applause.
