China renewed its yellow warnings for thunderstorms and heavy rainfall in some areas on Sunday.
The National Meteorological Center of China reported that heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in parts of Jiangsu, Shanghai, Anhui, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Sichuan, Chongqing, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, and Heilongjiang.
The center stated that parts of Jiangsu, Anhui, Hubei, Sichuan, Guizhou, and Yunnan are expected to receive up to 230 millimeters of rain.
Some of these areas are expected to experience brief but heavy rainfall, with maximum rainfall exceeding 80 millimeters, accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds.
It's worth noting that China has a four-level color-coded weather warning system, with red representing the most severe, followed by orange, yellow, and blue.
