The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday that the army's on-duty air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 121 Ukrainian UAVs last night over Russian territory and the Sea of Azov.

The Russian news agency TASS quoted the ministry as saying in an official statement: "Last night, from 8:00 PM Moscow time on August 9 to 6:10 AM Moscow time on August 10, 121 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed by on-duty air defense systems."

According to the Ministry, the following types of drones were destroyed: 29 drones over the Krasnodar Territory, 15 over Crimea, 13 over the Bryansk Region, 12 over the Belgorod Region, 9 over the Voronezh Region, 8 over the Saratov Region, 8 over the Stavropol Region, 7 over the Kaluga Region, 6 over the Tula Region, 5 over the Rostov Region, 4 over the Ryazan Region, 2 over the Sea of Azov, 1 over the Smolensk Region, 1 over the Oryol Region, and 1 over the Tver Region.
