Occupied Quds - Saba:

Mothers of Israeli prisoners have threatened to "pursue" the war criminal Prime Minister of the Zionist entity, Benjamin Netanyahu, if he takes the step of occupying the remaining Gaza Strip, which leads to the killing of their sons.

They warned that Netanyahu's hands will be "stained with the blood of prisoners and soldiers in Gaza." This came during a gathering of mothers of Israeli prisoners at the Begin Gate area in central Tel Aviv, during which they also called for a "general strike to disrupt the economy" and force Netanyahu to conclude a prisoner exchange deal with Palestinian factions, according to Hebrew media reports.

The event comes a day after the Israeli government approved, early Friday morning, a "gradual plan" proposed by Netanyahu to occupy the entire Gaza Strip and displace Palestinians from the north to the south.

This move was met with objections from Israeli security leaders due to its threat to the lives of prisoners and soldiers.

Channel 12 reported that the mother of prisoner Matan Einav Zangauker addressed Netanyahu during the gathering, surrounded by mothers of other prisoners, telling him: "If you occupy parts of Gaza and kill prisoners, we will come after you."

She added: "We will remind the Israeli public every day that you were able to reach a deal and instead chose to kill them (the prisoners). Your hands will be stained with the blood of prisoners and soldiers."

According to the same source, the mother of prisoner Matan Angerst appealed to the Chief of Staff of the Israeli army, Eyal Zamir, who also opposes the occupation of Gaza, stating that "if he receives an order to approach the prisoners, he should refuse, because he is responsible for their lives."

Earlier, Zamir described Netanyahu's plan as a "strategic trap," asserting that it would exhaust the army for years and endanger the lives of the prisoners.

For its part, Channel 13 reported that during the same event, the mothers of the prisoners called for a "general strike to disrupt the Israeli economy and force Netanyahu to conclude a prisoner exchange deal instead of proceeding with his plan."

The plan, approved by the Israeli government at dawn on Friday, begins with the occupation of Gaza City, by displacing its population of approximately one million to the south.

It then encircles the city and carries out incursions into residential areas. The second phase will include the occupation of the refugee camps in the center of the Strip, large parts of which have been destroyed by Tel Aviv. According to United Nations data, 87 percent of the Gaza Strip is already under Israeli occupation or subject to evacuation orders, warning that any further military expansion will have "catastrophic consequences."
