The Committee for Monitoring Project Implementation in Sana'a Province held a meeting on Tuesday, chaired by Secretary-General of the Local Council Abdulqader al-Jilani, to review the remaining projects from the 1446 AH plan and assess the progress of developmental projects.
The meeting, attended by Sana'a first undersecretaryy Hamid Asim, Local Council Administrative Members Abdulsalam al-Jaifi and Mahyoub Mahdi, Technical Affairs Deputy Governor Engineer Saleh Al-Muntasir, and Deputy Minister of Local Administration for Rural Development Mohammad al-Sanhani, also reviewed directives for the 1447 AH provincial project plan.
The attendees discussed the main goals and foundations of the province’s Economic Empowerment Program, along with the committee’s tasks and activities during the past period. They commended the efforts made in implementing the program, which aims to reduce unemployment and poverty in local communities.
The committee approved the organization of a training workshop next week for engineers and technicians tasked with preparing technical studies for projects proposed under the 1447 AH provincial plan.
Secretary-General al-Jilani stressed the importance of conducting parallel evaluations during project implementation to correct mistakes and address challenges that may arise.
