Occupied West Bank – Saba:
Israeli occupation forces arrested 13 Palestinian citizens during a series of overnight raids across various areas of the occupied West Bank early Monday.
According to the Palestinian Safa news agency, three citizens were detained during incursions into the city of al-Bireh and the village of al-Mazra’a al-Gharbiya, northwest of Ramallah.
Local sources reported that Israeli enemy forces stormed several neighborhoods in al-Bireh and arrested Mahmoud Omar Kararah and Nour al-Din Karakra after raiding and ransacking their homes.
The Occupation forces also arrested Mohammad Safi Abu Leila from the village of al-Mazra’a al-Gharbiya.
In the same context, Israeli enemy troops raided several homes in the towns of Birzeit and Abu Qash, and the village of Abu Shkheidem, north of Ramallah.
In Bethlehem, five Palestinian citizens were arrested. They were identified as Nabil Mousa, Wael Ismail Salameh, Kamal Nawareh, Nabil Ahmed Salem al-Obayat, and Kamal Ali Ubaidallah Nawareh.
In the city of Qalqilya, three citizens from the town of Azzun, east of the city, were arrested. Local sources identified them as Yamen Bassam Salim, Saeed Mazid Salim, and Ayham Bilal Ghanawi, after their homes were raided and searched.
In Hebron, Israeli enemy forces arrested Saddam al-Salamin from the town of al-Samu’ and Khalil Hassan Handan from Bani Na’im after raiding and searching their homes.
Local sources said the soldiers brutally assaulted both al-Salamin and Handan during their arrest.
In a related development, Israeli enemy forces set up multiple military checkpoints at the entrances of Hebron’s towns, villages, and refugee camps, and closed several main and secondary roads using iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.
