Abidjan - Saba:
At least 16 people were killed and 51 others were injured on Monday in a collision between two buses in Côte d'Ivoire.
The Ministry of Transport clarified in a statement on its Facebook page that "the accident occurred between a public transport bus and a dump truck carrying a crane on board."
The statement added that, according to initial estimates, 16 people were killed and 51 others were injured.
It is worth noting that deadly road accidents pose a major challenge in Côte d'Ivoire, as in many African countries, due to poor road and vehicle conditions, in addition to driver violations.
