The Zionist enemy army has revealed the opening of a new axis in the Gaza Strip aimed at separating eastern Khan Yunis from its western areas.
According to a statement by the enemy army on Wednesday, the 36th Division has been operating in the Khan Yunis area in recent weeks, during which the 188th Brigade and the Golani Brigade completed the opening of the “Magin Oz” axis, which separates east and west Khan Yunis.
The axis extends for approximately 15 kilometers and is described in the statement as a central part of increasing pressure on Hamas and deciding the battle against the Khan Yunis Brigade.
The enemy forces claimed to have killed dozens of fighters and discovered and destroyed infrastructure, including weapons depots and underground tunnel routes.
“The Southern Command continues to expand and strengthen control over this central axis and is working to ensure the security of the citizens of the State of Israel, particularly the residents of the Gaza envelope,” the army statement said.
