Gaza – SABA:
The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) demanded on Tuesday the dissolution of the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” and the return of relief operations in the Gaza Strip to United Nations supervision.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the DFLP joined over 130 international organizations in calling for an end to the "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" and the restoration of UN-managed aid distribution in Gaza. The Front warned of the danger of U.S. aid being weaponized for mass killings of Palestinian civilians.
The DFLP strongly condemned the catastrophic deterioration of humanitarian conditions in Gaza, holding the Zionist enemy and the U.S. administration fully responsible for using aid as bait to lure civilians—including women, children, and the elderly—into open areas targeted by airstrikes. This, it stated, constitutes a recurring crime added to the record of atrocities against the Palestinian people.
The Front asserted that the "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" has become a cover for politicizing humanitarian work, enforcing an unethical equation of "food in exchange for death." It stressed the need to halt all parallel mechanisms operating outside UN oversight, which violate international laws and norms and blatantly breach humanitarian principles.
The DFLP called for urgent international mobilization—both popular and official—to hold perpetrators accountable for ongoing crimes against Palestinians and to stop the massacres committed under the cover of global silence and overt U.S. bias toward the Zionist enemy.
It further demanded that the UNRWA (UN Relief and Works Agency) and relevant UN bodies resume full responsibility for managing and distributing aid in Gaza to ensure safe, equitable access for civilians while preserving their national dignity and right to life—free from humiliation and coercion.
