The 10th Charity Medical Camp for Dermatology and Venereal Diseases and the 3rd Medical Camp for Gynecology and Obstetrics concluded today at Al-Shahid Ali Abdul-Mughni Hospital in Al-Sadda District, Ibb Governorate.
During the closing ceremony, Dr. Sharif Al-Zubaidi, the hospital director, stated that the camp provided free medical consultations, examinations, and medications to patients. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in alleviating the suffering of patients and called on health organizations, philanthropists, and businessmen to support similar medical camps that offer vital free services to underprivileged communities.
Dr. Mas'ad Shihit, head of the medical camp and a consultant in dermatology, venereology, and infertility, reported that 2,200 cases were treated over four days—1,600 dermatological cases and 600 gynecological and obstetric cases.
He praised the efforts of Al-Shahid Ali Abdul-Mughni Hospital, its medical staff, and all contributors to the camp’s success. Dr. Shihit urged the expansion of charitable medical activities to ensure easier access to healthcare and further reduce the burden on citizens.
