Nablus – SABA:
A group of Zionist settlers set fire today, Tuesday, to hundreds of trees in the town of Duma, located south of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank of Palestine.
According to Sanad News Agency, citing local sources, settlers from the Yitzhar settlement ignited fires across dozens of dunums along the bypass road, leading to the burning of hundreds of olive trees.
The sources added that residents, along with civil defense crews, rushed to extinguish the fire and contain the flames. However, the settlers and Israeli occupation forces deliberately obstructed the efforts, preventing fire trucks from accessing water from the village’s nearby well near the Al-Murabba’a checkpoint.
