Occupied Quds - Saba:
Enemy media revealed that the Israeli occupation's project to support and form local armed groups as an alternative to the resistance in Gaza is facing a real setback, especially in light of the Abu Shabab Group's failure to gain any popular support or achieve an influential field presence.
According to the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper last Thursday evening, this group, which has been supplied with weapons and recruited dozens of its members, is limited to a limited area in Rafah and suffers from a lack of trust among the Palestinian public, leaving it isolated from any real influence on the balance of power on the ground.
Yedioth indicated that fears of assassination operations carried out by Hamas against members of this group, along with families' disavowal of it and the local community's refusal to embrace it, have led to a real paralysis in its activity and a growing sense of fear among its ranks.
