Zionist National Security Minister demands complete halt of Aid to Gaza
[Thu, 26 Jun 2025 22:59:34 +0300]

Gaza - Saba:
The so-called Zionist National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, demanded on Thursday a complete halt to humanitarian aid entering Gaza.

In a post on Telegram, as reported by Quds Press, Ben-Gvir stated: "The humanitarian aid entering Gaza today is a terrible disgrace. What we need in Gaza is not a temporary pause in aid but a complete stop."

Earlier on Thursday, the Zionist news site Times of Israel indicated that "Israel" had temporarily halted the delivery of aid to the northern Gaza Strip.

Ben-Gvir added: "I warned repeatedly, and unfortunately, I was the only one who voted a month and a half ago against allowing aid in. It was clear to me that it would give Hamas a significant boost."

He continued: "Some mocked me," claiming that "today, what was already known is becoming clear: Hamas controls the quantities of food and goods that contribute to its survival."

Ben-Gvir alleged that "stopping the aid will bring us closer to victory quickly. I will demand that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu put the issue of allowing aid into the Gaza Strip to another vote in the next cabinet meeting," without specifying a date.

This comes shortly after the Prime Minister's Office announced that Netanyahu had ordered the military to present a plan within the next two days on how to prevent Hamas from "stealing humanitarian aid."

Netanyahu and War Minister Decide to Block Aid to Northern Gaza

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a wanted war criminal under the International Criminal Court, and War Minister Yoav Gallant decided to prevent humanitarian aid from entering the northern Gaza Strip under the pretext of Hamas' control over it.

Netanyahu instructed Gallant and the military to develop a plan within 48 hours to stop what he claimed was Hamas' control over the aid, according to a statement from the Israeli Prime Minister's Office.

Gaza Government Media Office Refutes Claims

The Government Media Office in Gaza debunked these allegations in a statement, saying: "We categorically deny the false claims made by the criminal enemy Prime Minister Netanyahu and his war minister Gallant regarding the alleged control of the government and Hamas over aid in the northern Gaza Strip."

The statement added: "Palestinian families and clans were the ones who secured the aid convoys in the north of the Strip, without any intervention from the Palestinian government or factions, to provide scraps of food for hundreds of thousands of starving civilians."

Palestinian Clans Secure Aid Amid Fears of Looting

On Wednesday, Palestinian clans participated in securing trucks loaded with humanitarian aid to warehouses of the World Food Programme in Gaza City, fearing looting by gangs that government sources say operate "under the cover of the Israeli army."
