Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani reiterated his rejection of the violation of his country's airspace and its use in attacks on Iran on Saturday.
The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a statement that "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani received the British Ambassador to Iraq, Irfan Siddiq.
During the meeting, they discussed developments in the region, prospects for joint cooperation, bilateral relations, and ways to strengthen and develop them in various fields, serving the mutual interests of the two friendly countries."
The Prime Minister affirmed "Iraq's rejection of the violation of its airspace sovereignty and its use in the ongoing Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which represents a threat to international peace and security."
The Prime Minister stressed "the importance of major powers, especially the member states of the Security Council, playing their role in halting the aggression, whether against Iran or regarding the daily massacres committed by enemy forces in Gaza," emphasizing "the need to deliver aid to the besieged civilians."
