Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Saturday that his country will never agree to uranium enrichment, and that the United States' actions constitute a "true betrayal of diplomacy."
In an interview with NBC, Araghchi added, "We no longer know how we can trust the Americans. Iran will never agree to a complete halt to uranium enrichment, and Israel must stop its aggression before any negotiations with the United States."
He reiterated Iran's commitment to its right to enrich uranium, emphasizing that this right is non-negotiable.
In response to a question about whether diplomacy could resolve the Iranian nuclear issue within two weeks, Araghchi said, "This depends on the Americans: whether they show a genuine will for a negotiated solution, or whether they have other intentions and are planning to attack Iran."
He added, "Perhaps they have this plan, and perhaps they only need negotiations to cover up this plan."
The Iranian Foreign Minister stated that: "What they (the Americans) did was a betrayal of diplomacy, and we don't know how we can trust them again."
Since June 13, Iran has been subjected to ongoing Zionist aggression, which has assassinated dozens of civilians, military leaders, and scientists, and targeted Iranian civilian, military, and nuclear facilities.
