Moscow - Saba:
Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, warned that the conflict between Israel and Iran could turn into a global confrontation, noting that its damage would not affect Russia.
"As complicated as it may seem, all this chaos between Israel and Iran clearly does not harm our interests," Medvedev said on his Telegram channel, according to the Russian news agency Novosti.
He added, "Most Americans don't know where dying Ukraine is, and Trump's team, which has absolutely no desire to spend money on a conflict foreign to their country, is now under severe pressure. But it's a different story when it comes to beloved Israel... Now let them deal with their pet project. There is only one clear danger: the conflict in the Middle East could turn into a global confrontation, which Trump constantly talks about."
