Ibb - Saba:
A meeting held on Wednesday in Ibb province, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration, Rural Development, and Local Governance Mohammed Al-Madani, discussed mechanisms for launching economic empowerment projects targeting poor and extremely poor families in the districts of Al-Dhahar, Al-Mashannah, Al-Qafr, Al-Udayn, and Hazm Al-Udayn.
The meeting, attended by Ibb Governor Abdulwahab Salah, Chairman of the General Authority for Small and Microenterprise Development Ahmed Al-Kubsi, Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region Brigadier General Saleh Hajeb, and Bonyan Foundation Coordinator Hamza Al-Manski, reviewed the necessary procedures for implementing economic empowerment projects across various sectors.
During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the need to complete the survey of investment opportunities for productive families, to be carried out by the Small , Microenterprise Development Authority and the Economic Empowerment Project.
He noted that these projects fall within the framework of rapid response to developmental programs implemented by the Ministry of Local Administration, Rural Development, and Local Governance, the local authorities in the province, and cooperative associations.
Al-Madani highlighted the crucial role of local authorities in encouraging community participation in implementing initiative-based projects that contribute to providing services to citizens.
For his part, Governor Salah affirmed that the survey and implementation process would begin within the specified timeframe and approved mechanism to serve the goals of development.
