Gaza – SABA:
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, confirmed on Monday that their fighters targeted a Zionist army "Merkava" tank with a high-explosive device east of Jabalia in northern Gaza.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Al-Qassam reported:
"After returning from combat lines, our mujahideen confirmed the successful targeting of a Merkava tank with a high-explosive device on Al-Sikka Street, east of Jabalia, on June 11."
This follows an earlier announcement today that Al-Qassam fighters had targeted both a Zionist armored personnel carrier and a Merkava tank using high-explosive ground devices and martyrdom-operated explosives in eastern Jabalia on June 10
