Gaza - Saba:
Salah Abdel Ati, head of the International Committee to Support the Rights of the Palestinian People (Hashed), called for holding the Zionist enemy accountable for its crimes through the International Criminal Court.
He emphasized the need to form an international coalition to pressure the enemy, end the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, and lift the occupation from the Palestinian territories.
Abdel Ati told Shehab News Agency that the enemy imposed a comprehensive siege on many Palestinian cities, and carried out widespread raids and mass arrests of citizens. He considered the enemy to be committing crimes against civilians in the West Bank in clear violation of international laws and conventions.
He pointed out that the recent escalation in Jerusalem and the West Bank, including the complete closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque at dawn last Friday and the ban on Friday prayers, is a move he described as an attempt to impose new Judaization facts on the city.
Abdel-Ati made an urgent appeal to the United Nations and free nations to activate the mechanisms of the economic boycott and impose comprehensive sanctions on the enemy, in addition to working to protect Islamic and Christian holy sites, most notably Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to halt all forms of political and economic support directed at the "Israeli" enemy.
Abdel-Ati also expressed his deep condemnation of the continued tight blockade of the Gaza Strip and the prevention of the entry of humanitarian aid, which millions of Palestinians face difficulty obtaining.
Concluding his statement, Abdel-Ati called on the international community to intervene immediately to halt the "Israeli" aggression against the Palestinian people and ensure the safe entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. He emphasized the importance of effective international action to protect the rights of Palestinians in light of the ongoing escalation by the enemy.
