Islamabad – Saba:
Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif called on the international community on Monday to take serious note of the unregulated nuclear capabilities possessed by the "Zionist enemy," warning that they pose a threat to global peace.
According to Russia Today, Asif stated on platform X: "The world should be cautious and concerned about Israel’s nuclear power, as it is a state not bound by any international nuclear agreement and has not signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty or any other related treaty."
Asif added that Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people has expanded to include Yemen and now Iran. "The aggression against the Palestinian people and Iran must be stopped immediately," he stressed.
He emphasized that the attacks on Palestinians in Gaza and on Iran constitute war crimes, noting that the United States, which supports the Zionist enemy, could play a pivotal role in halting the aggression.
"We must exert diplomatic efforts and assist Iran in confronting this aggression," he said.
Asif urged Islamic countries to counter the threat posed by Israel, stating, "Israel is a nuclear state but has not signed any international treaty on nuclear arms control."
