At dawn on Monday, Israeli occupation forces arrested a number of Palestinian citizens during a large-scale raid on various areas in the occupied West Bank, including children and freed prisoners.
According to the Palestinian SAFA News Agency, local sources reported that an Israeli army force stormed the village of al-Walaja, west of Bethlehem, and arrested Muhammad Baha al-Darras (17 years old) and Muhammad Shadi Hadna (17 years old) after raiding their families' homes and ransacking their contents.
In Nablus Governorate, Israeli forces raided the Jabal al-Shamali area and Askar al-Jadid refugee camp, arresting brothers Ragheb and Rami al-Badawi, and their father, former prisoner Mohammed al-Badawi.
In the same context, Israeli forces arrested the mother of martyr Saed al-Koni after raiding her home on al-Arsad Street.
In Tulkarm, they arrested Sheikh Yousef Zaqout, Islam Hammad al-Timsah, Rami al-Tayah, and Amer Shehadeh, following violent raids and searches that lasted for hours.
In the town of al-Mazra'a al-Gharbiya, north of Ramallah, Israeli forces arrested five 15-year-old boys: Hussein Nasser, Muhannad Munther Ladadwa, Mohammed Ahmed Hanoun, Omar Osama Lutfi, and Milad Iyad Zudi.
Local sources reported that Israeli forces arrested Birzeit University student Asid Bayatneh from the town of Abu Qash, north of Ramallah, while Yazan Abu Aliya was arrested from the village of al-Mughayyir, east of Ramallah.
In the city of Qalqilia, Israeli forces arrested two young men from the town of Azzun, east of the city, at dawn today.
Sources explained that large Israeli forces stormed the town of Azzun at dawn from its main northern entrance, raided several neighborhoods, and arrested the two young men, Hussam Majd and Nidal Hussein, after searching their homes.
They also raided several other homes, ransacked their contents, and caused extensive damage, including the homes of Ibrahim Dahbour, Khaled Omar, and Nihad Salama.
