Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, emphasized that the Iranian people are aware and stand united against the brutal Zionist enemy, emphasizing that any suspicious sites must be immediately reported to security centers across the country.
"The Zionist apartheid regime, with the support and approval of the US government, has committed a new crime in our beloved country by targeting residential neighborhoods, hospitals, relief equipment, and civilian infrastructure," Qalibaf said during a speech to the Iranian Shura Council plenary session on Monday morning, according to the Iranian News Agency (IRNA).
He continued: "The Zionist regime targeted a group of women, children, and oppressed civilians in their homes, once again revealing its vile nature, which has been accustomed to eighty years of bloodshed."
He added: "Meanwhile, a number of righteous Islamic leaders and eminent scholars have fulfilled their long-awaited wish and joined their martyred comrades."
He continued, "This criminal gang was planning, on the one hand, to deprive us of our ability to defend and attack by assassinating commanders and destroying some military infrastructure. On the other hand, it dreamed of bringing people into the streets of Tehran and fulfilling its more than 40-year-old dream of eliminating the Islamic regime. But the unity of the people, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and the loyal soldiers of the Armed Forces eliminated any threat and turned it into an opportunity."
Qalibaf added, "The nightmare of the past nights for the Zionists will continue until the aggressor repents and is punished; the world will witness their misery."
Qalibaf emphasized, "We must all know that we are in exceptional circumstances, and that the brutal enemy does not abide by any red lines. Although ultimate victory is certain, it is natural that there will be ups and downs along this path. Therefore, we must prepare for any potential difficulties by relying on God and seeking His help and persevering on our righteous path."
He continued: "Activating popular mobilization throughout the country, in coordination with Basij and IRGC officials, can play an influential role in controlling terrorist and subversive activities."
He emphasized: "The enemy launches its attacks within the framework of a joint war based on cognitive warfare. The authorities have established a center for organizing the media space to provide general guidance, strategic policies, and news information to the public. Media activists and the public must also carefully and carefully observe the necessary rules in specific situations so that the enemy does not exploit potential mistakes."
Qalibaf also emphasized: "We must not forget that the main factor ensuring our security is the noble Iranian people. The country's progress and the well-being of society would not be possible without the participation of all the people."
He pointed out that the country's armed forces and political officials stand firmly in the face of Iran's enemy, support the people, and increase their intelligence and military capabilities by the day. They will further enhance their superiority than in the past, and the world will witness the dignity of Iran and the Iranians.
