The Pakistani Senate unanimously approved a resolution supporting Iran in the face of Zionist aggression targeting Iranian infrastructure and the assassination of high-ranking officials.
According to Iran's Mehr News Agency on Sunday, the Senate endorsed the resolution, which was presented to members to "support Iran against Israeli threats."
Last Friday, the Senate had unanimously condemned the Zionist aggression against Iran, describing it as a "violation of the principles of the UN Charter and international law."
Pakistani Defense Minister’s Statement
In a related development, Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, addressing the National Assembly, affirmed that "Iran is Pakistan’s neighbor, with whom we have shared centuries of strong relations, and these historic ties remain intact."
He added: "We will stand by Iran in this crisis by all possible means and protect its interests. The Iranians are our brothers, and their pain is our pain."
