Sana'a - Saba:
The Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Mohammed Al-Mahdi, inspected on Sunday the level of work discipline in the ministry and its affiliated agencies following the Eid al-Adha holiday.

Accompanied by his deputy, Eng. Ali Al-Makni, and the Undersecretary for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Ahmed Al-Mutawakel, Minister Al-Mahdi reviewed the workflow at the General Postal Authority.

They were briefed by the Director-General of the Authority, Ammar Wahan, on the post offices’ continued operation during the Eid holiday to provide services to citizens. He noted that the postal sector is one of the entities directly connected to the public, requiring uninterrupted service delivery.

Later, Minister Al-Mahdi, his deputy, and the Undersecretary for Financial and Administrative Affairs reviewed the workflow and level of discipline at the Public Telecommunications Corporation.

The minister received a briefing from the corporation’s Executive Director, Eng. Sadeq Musleh, on efforts to provide round-the-clock telecommunications and internet services. Musleh emphasized that the corporation is a vital service sector continuously linked to citizens, necessitating uninterrupted work even during holidays.

The Minister of Communications and Information Technology commended the efforts of the Public Telecommunications Corporation and the General Postal Authority during the Eid holiday and official working days.

The inspection was attended by the CEO of Yemen International Telecommunication Company (TeleYemen), Dr. Ali Nassari, and the Chairman of Yemen Mobile’s Board of Directors, Abdulkhaleq Al-Hussam, along with heads of sectors at the Public Telecommunications Corporation: Financial Sector Head Mohammed Al-Suraihi, Administrative Sector Head Dr. Issam Al-Hamli, Commercial Sector Head Ali Al-Wadaei, and Technical Sector Head Eng. Mohammed Al-Hamzi.
