The General Directorate of Crisis Management in East Azerbaijan Province in Iran on Friday announced that the death toll from the Zionist aggression on the city of Tabriz has risen to 18 martyrs and 35 wounded.
The directorate stated, in a statement carried by the Iranian Mehr News Agency, that since this morning, 11 locations in various parts of the province have been subjected to airstrikes by the Zionist regime, including seven locations around Tabriz, two locations in Bostan Abad District, and one location in Maragheh District, in addition to the second airbase and part of the runway of Shahid Madani Airport in Tabriz.
It added: "So far, 18 people have been martyred and 35 citizens have been wounded as a result of this brutal attack on Tabriz."
The directorate added: "Despite this, the province's infrastructure is stable, and services to citizens continue without any interruption or disruption."
The Iranian Students' News Agency (ISNA) earlier quoted the director of the Crisis Management Department in East Azerbaijan Province, Majid Farshi, as saying that two people were killed and six others were injured in Zionist enemy attacks targeting three locations in Tabriz, according to a preliminary toll.
